Please check out Matt’s work – and, thanks again for listening!
Matt Emmer is a communications attorney turned writer and editor. Matt’s experience in media dates back more than 25 years, including stints at CNN, where he worked on the original "Crossfire" program, which pioneered the cable news "food fight" format, and at the Federal Communications Commission.
After law school, he worked as a communications lawyer/lobbyist in Washington, DC, helping big bad media companies get bigger and badder. Several years ago, Matt left the law but stayed in the media, starting his own business as a writer and editor. He handles a variety of projects for his clients, from websites to online articles to blogs to graphic novels, and even video game development.
Matt is also a passionate participant in the political dialogue. He is the LA County Political Buzz columnist for Examiner.com, where he covers issues of interest to Californians, including the 2010 elections, global warming, hybrid and electric vehicles, marijuana legalization, and same-sex marriage. Based on his background, Matt is most interested in the language of politics.
