Yesterday was Rush Limbaugh’s first time back on the air after suffering a medical emergency and being hospitalized December 30, 2009.
On that January 6 show, Rush claimed that his prior hospital press conference was not intended to be a political statement. Rush then went even further in using his medical event to oppose health care reform:
That’s right! Limbaugh claims that if his medical emergency had occurred under the proposed health care reform system, he could have died.
Talk about a selling point to pass reform quickly!
Even more, Rush seemed to confirm that Rep. Alan Grayson's description of the Republican health care plan: if you can’t afford health care, “Don’t Get Sick” and if you do get sick, “Die Quickly,” is correct.
